the “Un Wedding”

The idea of the “un wedding” as you may have seen in BRIDES May/June 2009 addition, has many of us and our brides thinking… Is right for us?

 

It just may be. We at Narcissus are finding in these more interesting financial times many are re-thinking the way in which weddings are hosted. This is not to say there has been a balance shift; however we are seeing a marketable increase in smaller more intimate weddings, or the newly defined “un wedding”.

 

In the true spirit of the “un wedding” the guest list is pared down to what may best be described as a list of those who may invited if you and yours hosted a joint birthday bash. Keeping it simple and elegant is of course key to the events success as it is a wedding after all.  

 

Flowers become an important part of this intimate setting as a few styled arrangements echoing the theme of your big day make maximum impact.  The bouquets the bride and maid of honor will carry are an opportunity to bring in a beautiful accent and reflect your own style.
