It’s the Economy…
Many of our industry magazines have been publishing copious articles on how to save on your big day. We at Narcissus couldn’t agree more. True; the recovery will be a slow one and we must watch what we spend, however it is important to understand that the recovery will never happen without spending. The moral of the story is to spend what you have, or what you are capable of spending on your wedding.
There is an interesting dynamic that I have witnessed as of late in many of my consults. Several of our brides are cutting back either on the choices of the varietals for more economic blooms, or making larger significant cuts like actual invitees. All have a definite impact on the bottom line. Some who do have the means to spend seem to have a self-imposed guilt when it comes to spending their own hard earned money. I assure you, there is nothing to feel guilty about, wherever you fall on our current economic scale.
We at Narcissus continue to provide unique ideas to fit into any budget large or small.
Money Saving Tip: Use what you have! Forego additional décor on the sweet heart table and ask you maitre de to place your bouquet at the head of the table once you are introduced.
Take it a step further and don’t order a centerpiece for your attendants’ table: Have a large cube or glass cylinder placed in the center of their table waiting to receive their beautiful bouquets!
