2010 Color!

2010 is off to a brilliant start, and we mean quite literally. Color is exploding on the wedding scene and this year is already proving to top all years before. Whether we should credit a rebounding economy or people just yearning to party the color combinations our brides at Narcissus are requesting are sure to blow away their guests, time and time again.

Looking for some wow in your color pallet? Try putting lemons into your summer wedding mix…and not just enough to make some fierce lemonade; we are talking about jardinières full of them (available for rent or purchase). Highlight the bold yellow tones with celadon greens for extra kick.

Pink and purple are back and in a big way. These colors scream go hard or go home. Fuchsia peacock and ostrich feathers coupled with lush purple hydrangea and deep fuchsia peony are certainly not for the faint of heart but provide awesome texture combinations. For a more casual or beach affair, try substituting Gerbera for the peony, and add bear or lily grass. (We think you might like it.)
